Tea has been a part of Saudi Arabia’s culture and history. In modern Arab culture, tea symbolizes Arab hospitality, business etiquette and social events. Kempinski Tea Garden’s interior design concept is inspired by the cultural tradition of drinking tea as a high-end way of socializing.

The design has been conceptualized as a sophisticated rooftop Sky Lounge that will provide guests and travelers to meet over tea and delicious bites. The brief was to design a podium rooftop space as a covered outdoor space for serving tea, beverages and bites. Preference was to use Greenery in the design while adding striking features like a tea bar, floating sitting areas and private cabanas.
