The existing Al Areen Palace & Spa will be refurbished and converted into a new Raffles Resort & Spa. The design is built around the creation of a ‘secret garden’ that reflects in all parts of the new hotel resort.

The new Raffles will offer the perfect blend of relaxation and intimacy. An expression of understated charm and elegance spanning 131,000 square metres, the resort features 78 luxurious appointed villas in a total built-up area of 32,000 square meters. This includes 22 two-bedroom royal villas and 56 one-bedroom desert pool villas. Each has its own private courtyard, swimming pool and jet pool. Bordering the spectacular grounds of Al Areen Wildlife Sanctuary, the resort is a perfect retreat.

ida had developed the Concept Design completed by Smallwood. The concept approach of the ‘secret garden’ has been taken to the extended scope of work areas, using ida’s local knowledge and Interior Design delivery experience.
